ABOUT THE MIX:
In my rounds of digital crate digging, the style and sound I’m looking for in the mixes I bring to you has become increasingly harder. While this is a space I plan to add my own music into, I also want to put music by others who also feel the need to fill that space, and not have it just be me, me, me all the time.
This month’s mix, is more about the energy. The energy generated on the dance floor by the immediate connection between the DJ and the ravers via the music thrust from the speakers. Ask anyone about the first rave they attended and the energy generated by the music, and you’ll hear that it’s something you actually have to feel to understand.
Notice that the moment you feel the tempo of this mix, you’ll feel sucked in, and carried along from track to track, the sounds thicken and dissipate, but the speed keeps you constantly moving. The songs that really resonate in this area is what awaits you in this mix!
